About DMM

In May 2021, EBAYC hired youth, to serve in a summer internship program described below. Each intern was responsible for:

1) completing eight sessions of job readiness and financial literacy training; 

2) producing a current job search cover letter and resume; 

3) secure a California Identification Card; 

4) completing 120 hours of direct work experience; and 

5) completing a pre-service and a post-service survey.
 

Job readiness and financial literacy training sessions were in-person at Oakland High School Wellness Center with John Tran.

  • Each workshop is 2 hours

  • About once a week, but will total 8 workshops in 6 weeks

Digital Media Marketing –

June 21 to July 30, 2021 (6 weeks)

Met as a group twice a week -  Tuesday and Thursday 10:30am - 12:00pm

Met Individually once a week 

 

DMM Interns worked virtually as a team to produce digital media images and messages focused on promoting physical and mental wellness. Interns were responsible for: 

 

1) Participating in campaign conceptualization and campaign strategy workshops using graphic design, website development and Instagram; 

2) Produce and implement a specific message and platform strategy; 

3) Submitting works-in-progress to receive peer and supervisor feedback; and 

4) Disseminate using social media.
